<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate stop valve that can surely block a passage without forming a gap between a step of a core and a valve body. <P>SOLUTION: The gate stop valve 10 includes: a case 2 which communicates with a protrusive hole Q protrusively formed at a fluid pipe 1 and tightly coats the outer periphery of the fluid pipe 1; the valve body 5 which is operated by the rotation of a non-rising rotating screw 4 in the case 2 via the protrusive hole Q; and the cylinder core 40 which is inserted into the protrusive hole Q and engaged with the protrusive hole Q by a diameter-expander 58. The gate stop valve can block or release the passage of the fluid pipe 1. The core 40 is composed of a support member 41 having an outer peripheral surface along an internal periphery face of the protrusive hole Q and an inner peripheral surface 41e which abuts on the valve body 5, and an elastic member 42 which is formed at the outer peripheral surface of the support member 41 and abuts on the protrusive hole Q all over the inner peripheral surface of the protrusive hole. The elastic member 42 has, at the abutting part of the support member 41 and the valve body 5, an extension part 42a which is formed almost flush with the inner peripheral surface 41e of the support member 41 and extends toward the inner peripheral surface of the fluid pipe 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
