<p>Disclosed are a device and a method for motion detection in a wind power generator. The device for motion detection in a wind power generator comprises: first near field communication modules installed in reference points dispersed in a wind power generator; a second near field communication module installed in a target point positioned in a rotor of the wind power generator; and a control unit to detect the position of the target point by communicating with the first and second near field communication modules, wherein the control unit detects the position of the target point by using the previously stored fixed position of the reference points and received signal strength indicators (RSSI) received from the first near field communication modules installed in the reference points and recognizes the motion of the rotor based on the detected position of the target point, thereby checking the load applied to a blade in an economical and effective manner and achieving a load reduction effect without the necessity of providing additional calibration weight and equipment for correction of a strain gage in the wind power generator.</p> |
