<p>The objective of the present invention is to solve the problem that a system for providing lane information based on images acquired through a camera cannot provide accurate lane information due to the difficulty in acquiring images at night or in bad weather. The present invention relates to a system and a method for generating a virtual lane which can generate and display a virtual lane of a road on which a vehicle drives by accurately measuring the position of the vehicle and using lane information included in an electronic map. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a virtual lane including a guide line for connecting a driving lane and a lane positioned in a moving direction can be provided when entering a crossroad, and traffic information per lane can be displayed along with the virtual lane.</p> |
