In a stack-loading slide projector slides fall under gravity through aperture 91 in plate 20a and are engaged by a cut-out 53, 54, 56, or 57 in a disc 50 rotatable in recess 21 formed in lower plate 20b each slide being transported successively to alignment with a pre-viewing aperture 23b, a projection aperture 24b, and a slide disposal aperture 101. Spring detent 25 engages notches 55a, b, c, d in disc 50 to locate the four positions of the cut-outs, as the disc is rotated either manually or by motor. In a non-stack-loading embodiment only apertures 23b and 24b are provided, the slides being fed and withdrawn manually and singly through a recess such as 28 at each aperture. The disc 50 has two corresponding cut-outs only. In a variation of this embodiment, disc 50 is replaced by a member comprising two pusher arms rotatable transport the slides in an annular recess in plate 20b. |
