The present invention relates to an improved muffler for vehicles, which can remarkably reduce exhaust noise, increase the overall engine output by improving the exhaust force (transfer speed) and exhaust amount of a muffler that exhausts exhaust gas, can improve engine performance by reducing the load of the exhaust stroke of an engine according to the fast outflow of the exhaust gas to increase the output, and allows a driver to feel excellent riding comfort by significantly reducing transmission noise and vibration at the time of transmission and resonance noise at the time of acceleration. To achieve the objective of the present invention, the muffler installed in an exhaust system of a vehicle comprises: a main exhaust pipe; a sub-exhaust pipe provided inside the main exhaust pipe; a fixing member which fixes the main exhaust pipe and the sub-exhaust pipe; a swirl generation member installed inside the sub-exhaust pipe; an inner housing surrounding the main exhaust pipe with a predetermined gap therebetween and having both ends fixed to the outer surface of the main exhaust pipe; and an outer housing surrounding the inner housing with a predetermined gap therebetween and having both ends fixed to the outer surface of the main exhaust pipe, wherein a plurality of exhaust through holes are formed on the main exhaust pipe inside the inner housing, a plurality of exhaust through holes are formed on the inner housing, and a noise suction member is provided between the inner housing and the main exhaust pipe. |
