<p>The present invention relates to a multi layer pixel collimator for computed tomography and an operation method thereof. In a collimator which shields a part except a region for radiation emitted from a computed tomography (CT) device arranged in front of an X-ray detector, a damping layer comprises: a hinge shaft arranged with an arc shape with a constant distance, and a damping plate which is connected to the hinge shaft and is formed with pixels formed in a row. The damping plate is selectively opened/closed according to the control of the motion of a rotation motor by a control part formed in each hinge. A damping wall is formed by vertically stacking the damping layers. According to the present invention, the collimator having such configuration using a CT technique can prevent an image from being not displayed on a region of shielding radiation and also reduce exposure with regard to normal organ tissues as much as that.</p> |
