<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum insulation panel and a refrigerator using the same, improving further heat insulation property by arranging the vacuum insulation panel also on the refrigerator-side of the folded back portion of a radiation pipe without projecting the radiation pipe, in the refrigerator with the radiation pipe vertically meanderingly arranged inside of an outer case. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: an insulation housing with a foam thermal insulator filled between the outer case and an inner case; the radiation pipe 14 arranged inside of the outer case; and the vacuum insulation panel 60 arranged on the refrigerator-side of the radiation pipe. The vacuum insulation panel is formed into a platelike shape by evacuating the inside of a gas barrier vessel storing core material, and is provided with a plurality of first grooves 66 arranged in parallel with each other and a second groove 68 mutually connecting the ends of the plurality of first grooves.
