<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering platinum as ammonium chloroplatinate from a blasting powder containing platinum, which improves a recovery rate as a whole by reducing the amount of platinum contained in a filtrate from which ammonium chloroplatinate has been precipitated and separated and eliminating the necessity of further recovering platinum from the filtrate with an ion-exchange resin or activated carbon. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering platinum from the blasting powder containing platinum discharged by blasting of apparatus members includes: charging the blasting powder containing platinum into dilute sulphuric acid to dissolve metals other than platinum; filtering the same; dissolving the obtained filtration precipitate in aqua regia or an oxidizing hydrochloric acid solution; and adding ammonium chloride to the resulting solution to recover platinum as a precipitate of ammonium chloroplatinate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
