PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable proper retrieval of case data similar in the course of symptoms.SOLUTION: A similar case retrieving device 100 includes: a disease progression model construction function that extracts a feature quantity from each of a plurality of medical images of the same subject taken at different times, and constructs a disease progression model; an instrument to read the case data; a means to acquire examination data; a similar case retrieval function that interpolates the feature quantity extracted from each of the plurality of medical images included in the examination data by using the model, and calculates the similarity between the examination data and the case data by using the interpolated feature quantity; and a monitor 111 that displays the case data selected based on the calculated similarity. |
