<p>Disclosed is a sprinkler comprising a nozzle arrangement that can rotate about a vertical axis of rotation as well as means for controlling the sprinkling range in accordance with the angle of rotation. A blocking device which can be moved between a non-blocking position and a blocking position can temporarily prevent the nozzle arrangement from rotating further until the user has set a sprinkling range associated with the angular position. Preferably, the blocking device is self-retaining in the blocking position. A blocking element advantageously engages with a gear wheel of a gear stage of a multistage gear mechanism, said gear stage having just a slightly reduced gear ratio relative to the input shaft of the gear mechanism.</p> |
