A display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a base substrate, a driving circuit, a cover layer defining a cavity, and a display element. A color filter for covering the driving circuit is arranged on the base substrate. The color filter is arranged on at least a pixel region and includes a stepped part overlapping with the circuit region. A black matrix is inserted into the stepped part on the color filter. The black matrix inserted into the stepped part secures the entrance of the cavity with a preset area or more. |
