The present invention relates to an electrolyte, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The electrolyte includes an aromatic compound represented by chemical formula 1, and a sultone-based compound as an electrolyte additive, thereby improving battery properties of a lithium secondary battery, in particular, a high voltage and high temperature performance, suppressing the gas generation, and enhancing the overcharge prevention property. |
