The present invention relates to a technology of melting and chamfering a corner of a thin glass substrate (e.g. thickness of 0.1 mm). More specifically, the present invention relates to a technology of melting and chamfering glass which jets cooled nitrogen gas to promptly transfer heat only to a partial corner surface of a glass substrate, and moves a heat radiation body of high temperature formed in a shape of a thermal rod along a side wall of a glass substrate while the heat radiation body is in close contact with the side wall, such that a corner of the glass substrate is melted while residual heat is not conducted inside the glass substrate deviated from the glass substrate corner; thereby preventing deformation of the glass substrate. According to the present invention, the glass substrate corner is melted by thermal conduction while residual heat is not conducted to an edge of the thin glass substrate, thereby preventing deformation of the glass substrate.
|
