<p>Disclosed are a method and an apparatus of the low power operation of a hearing assistance. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention includes the steps of: detecting an audio signal from the outside; determining whether the audio signal is the voice signal of a wearer; and controlling the amplification of the audio signal according to a determination result.
