PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus configured to reliably collect toner sticking to a blade member, such as a regulation blade, with a simple mechanism, to prevent an image defect from being generated due to uncollected toner, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus 34 includes a magnetic roller 62, and a developing roller 63 arranged opposite thereto. In the magnetic roller 62, a regulation pole 76 and a conveyance pole 77 are formed. The regulation pole 76 faces a facing surface 65A at a tip of a regulation blade 65 arranged in a developer container 60. The regulation pole 76 and the conveyance pole 77 are arranged, in a magnetic field formed by the magnetic poles, so that a spot causing no perpendicular magnetic pole perpendicular to a surface of the magnetic roller 62 is located in a gap with the regulation blade 65. |
