Each cell assembly is flexibly coupled to an adjacent assembly by further strips of flexible adhesive tape 11 leaving gaps between each assembly whereby the electrodes may be coupled end to end as by welded wires 12 of greater length than the gap. The terminals 5, 7 may be of metal mesh welded to the electrodes. Specification 1,201,555 is referred to as giving further constructional details of the flexible electric cell.
