<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC temperature regulator which enables the achievement of heating and heat dissipation with power consumption kept down, and enables the power-on of a power source suitable for IC.SOLUTION: An IC temperature regulator comprises: IC 4; a metal plate 10 for heating IC 4 or dissipating heat therefrom; a heater 7 to be put in contact with the metal plate 10; a temperature detector 14 for detecting a temperature around IC 4; and a controller 15 which determines whether or not a power source of an electronic device is turned on under a low-temperature environment based on a value detected by the temperature detector 14, and when the power source has been determined to be turned on under the low-temperature environment, operates the heater 7 so that the temperature around IC 4 falls in an IC operation guarantee temperature range. The metal plate 10 is arranged along edge portions of IC 4, and includes: a heat transmission part 11 for raising, by heat transmission from the heater 7, the temperature around IC 4 to a temperature within the IC operation guarantee temperature range; and a heat dissipation part 12 connected with the heat transmission part 11 and put in contact with IC 4 through a second heat transmission member.</p> |
