<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high pressure coolant tube and a tool body-high pressure coolant tube assembly, which achieve satisfactory performance at coolant pressure of a pressure zone corresponding to about 500 bar. The high pressure coolant tube received in a tool body includes a coolant tube body with an annular flange adjacent to an end of an exit body. There is a threaded collar with an exterior thread surface. The thread collar includes an interior collar bore with a diameter-increasing interior collar bore surface and a diameter-reducing interior collar bore surface. There is an exit seal pocket defined by an exit-opposite flange surface of the annular flange, a diameter-reducing body section, and the diameter-increasing interior collar bore surface. There is an entrance seal assembly pocket defined by an entrance-opposite flange surface of the annular flange, the diameter-reducing body section, and the diameter-increasing interior collar bore surface. An exit seal is in the exit seal pocket. An entrance seal assembly is in the entrance seal assembly pocket, and includes an entrance seal interposed between a pair of thermoplastic polyester elastomer rings.</p> |
