PURPOSE: A recombinant microorganism containing a gene(polynucleotide) encoding glycerol dehydratase is provided to excellently produce 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde and/or 3-hydroxypropionic acid. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant microorganism which produces 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde and/or 3-hydroxypropionic acid contains a polynucleotide encoding Roseburia inulinivorans-derived glycerol dehydratase. The glycerol dehydratase contains a polypeptide sequence of sequence number 10. A method for producing 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde and/or 3-hydroxypropionic acid comprises a step of culturing the recombinant microorganism in a medium containing one or more among glycerol and glucose.
