The present invention relates to a graphene-nanoparticle composite, a use of the composite and a method for manufacturing the composite. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for mass-producing a graphene-nanoparticle composite at low process costs by using a simple method and a graphene-nanoparticle composite with improved performance. The present invention manufactures graphene-nanoparticle composites by bonding nanoparticles to graphene oxide while exfoliating graphite oxide with the graphene oxide by putting the graphite oxide and the nanoparticles with hydrophobic surfaces into hydrophilic solvents after preparing the graphite oxide and the nanoparticles with hydrophobic surfaces.
