PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notebook personal computer capable of displaying a remaining capacity of a battery in real time.SOLUTION: A notebook personal computer according to the present invention includes: a computer base; a cover pivotally attached to the computer base; and a battery module attached to the cover. A system management data pin is provided in the cover. The battery module includes: a battery remaining capacity calculation chip; and a first battery. The battery remaining capacity calculation chip includes a first remaining capacity detection pin; and a data signal output pin. An anode of the first battery is connected to the first remaining capacity detection pin, a cathode of the first battery is grounded, and the data signal output pin is connected to the system management data pin. The battery remaining capacity calculation chip detects remaining capacity information on the first battery by the first remaining capacity detection pin, and transmits the remaining capacity of the first battery to the computer base by the data signal output pin. The computer base displays the remaining capacity of the first battery on the battery module. |
