PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image pickup device which is improved in condensibility to a light receiving part.SOLUTION: A solid state image pickup device includes a pixel 30 exclusive for photography. The pixel 30 exclusive for photography includes: a first light receiving part 32; a first waveguide layer 35; a color filter 38; and a micro-lens 40. The first light receiving part 32 is formed on the surface of a semiconductor substrate 31, the first waveguide layer 35 is formed so as to correspond to the upper side of the first light receiving part, and a reverse tapered shape such that the width becomes large from the upper surface (micro-lens 40 side) to the lower surface (first light receiving part 32 side) is formed from the upper surface over the lower surface. |
