PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle including a type of motor which is suitable for hybrid vehicles.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle of the invention includes: an engine; a non-stage transmission coupled to an output shaft of the engine; a clutch coupled to an output shaft of the non-stage transmission; driving wheels coupled to an output shaft of the clutch; an electric motor mechanically coupled to the driving wheels; and a battery electrically coupled to the electric motor. The electric motor is a Lundell type synchronous motor.
