<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The lock has a stop device to maintain a handle (16) in an intermediate position between a folded position and a spaced position in which the handle is spaced from a U-shaped transparent longitudinal case (12), after unlocking of the handle. A longitudinal bolt (14) has a notch i.e. concave blind orifice, to receive flexible indexing ball and helical spring for holding the bolt between an extended position in which the bolt is extended outside the case and a retracted position in which the bolt is retracted within the case. The device includes an axial guiding unit (68) mounted in the case. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Outer hatch lock for use in a railway wagon or a railway passenger car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The longitudinal bolt includes the notch to receive the flexible indexing ball and helical spring for holding the bolt between the extended position in which the bolt is extended outside the case, and the retracted position in which the bolt is retracted within the case, thus assuring improved controlling of the opening of the hatch when the lock is actuated.
