<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide (1) a lid material producible by the single laminate method; (2) a lid material capable of abating curling and of accommodating leaf-by-leaf storage; and (3) a lid material sealable to a polypropylene container at a temperature lower than that of a conventional lid material (e.g., 140°C) and exhibiting a favorable unsealability while having a favorable sealability over a broad temperature range (e.g., approximately 140°C to approximately 180°C) as well as lidded containers using these lid materials.SOLUTION: The provided lid material for hermetically sealing an aperture unit of a container is a lid material for hermetically sealing an aperture unit of a container including a substrate, a metal foil, an intermediate layer, and a sealant layer laminated in proper order wherein the intermediate layer includes a first polyethylene and an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer or ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer and wherein the sealant layer includes a second polyethylene and anα-olefinic copolymer.</p> |
