Disclosed in the present invention is a data routing method, comprising: receiving, through an HSS (Home Subscriber Server), a routing identifier of an MME (Mobility Management Entity) sent by the MME serving UE (User Equipment); determining, by the HSS, an information transmission mode supported by the MME according to the routing identifier of the MME, wherein the routing identifier is in one-to-one correspondence with the information transmission mode supported by the MME; receiving, by the HSS, a query message sent by an MTC-IWF (Machine Type Communications-Interworking Function), wherein the query message carries a UE identifier and the information transmission mode required to be adopted; determining, by the HSS, that the MME serving the UE supports the information transmission mode required to be adopted according to the information transmission mode supported by the MME, the UE identifier and the information transmission mode required to be adopted; and sending, by the HSS, to the MTC-IWF the routing identifier of the MME corresponding to the information transmission mode required to be adopted , so that the MTC-IWF performs routing according to the routing identifier to select the most efficient transmission path for information transmission, thus improving the service experience of users. |
