PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device capable of matching a distance displacement direction from a driver in a field of front vision seen by the driver with a distance displacement direction from the driver in a generated virtual image.SOLUTION: A head-up display device generates a virtual image of an image to be viewed by a driver 7 of a vehicle 2 by projecting the image from a projector 4 onto a first screen 20 and a second screen 21 via a first projection lens 16 and a second projection lens 17, respectively, and reflecting the images projected on the first screen 20 and the second screen 21 onto a windscreen 6 of the vehicle 2 for the driver 7 to see the images. The head-up display device is configured to allow for adjusting an image generation distance L2 from the driver 7 to a second virtual image 8B while keeping orientation of the second virtual image 8B with respect to the driver 7 at a fixed orientation tilted upward from the horizontal direction by moving the second screen 21. |
