Furthermore, the DMLM system includes a controller configured to control the operation of a laser device based on at least one build parameter. |

receive at least one of the melt pool size or the melt pool temperature from said optical system;generate a correction factor based on at least one of the size or the temperature of the melt pool; andmodify at least one build parameter based on said correction factor to achieve a desired physical property; and a controller configured to control operation of a laser device based on said at least one build parameter. |
