<p>PURPOSE:An aqueous color ink, containing a hydrolysis product of a reactive dye as a water-soluble dye, a drying inhibitor and water, having a bright hue and improved water and light resistance without causing cologging of nozzles, etc., and useful for ink jet recording. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous color ink containing a hydrolysis product of a reactive dye expressed generally by the formula S-D-T-X (S is water-soluble group; D is parent dye; X is reactive group; T is a group linking D to X) as a water- soluble dye in an ink for ink jet recording containing the water-soluble dye, a drying inhibitor, e.g. polyethylene glycol higher than diethylene glycol, and water as main components.</p> |
