The invention relates to a method for locking a rail vehicle door, which rail vehicle door comprises a movably supported door leaf (3), which door leaf can be moved by means of an axially movable rod (1). In a closed position of the door leaf (3), a locking lever (4) engages in a hole of a gate element (5). The locking motion is caused by a threaded connection (6, 7) between the rod (1) and the locking lever (4), and the door leaf (3) has an axial play (X) with respect to the rod (1). |
