PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a table type communication terminal capable of operating a manual of the tablet type communication terminal even in an environment where protective clothing and gloves are used, a program for the tablet type communication terminal, and a control method for the tablet type communication terminal.SOLUTION: A tablet type communication terminal 100 includes: an acceleration sensor 200 for detecting an impact; manual data 310 for predetermined handling instructions; a display unit 400 for displaying a manual; and a control unit 500 for changing display on the display unit 400 in response to detection from the acceleration sensor 200. An impact on a housing is detected by the acceleration sensor. A manual is displayed on the display unit. Display on the display unit is changed in response to detection from the acceleration sensor by the control unit.
