PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcatheter 1 capable of keeping a flexural strength of an intermediate part 4 and capable of performing smooth insertion into a peripheral blood vessel without kinking while forming the intermediate part 4 and a proximal part 3 in an allowed maximum outside diameter (MXOD).SOLUTION: A microcatheter 1 is formed with an intermediate proximal part (3-4) between the distal end DE side of a proximal part 3 and the proximal end PE side of an intermediate part 4. In the intermediate proximal part (3-4), a conical junction part 3TS on the distal end DE side of the proximal part 3 and a tapered junction part 4TS on the proximal end PE side of the intermediate part 4 are joined. |
