An embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for transmitting sensor data. The method comprises: obtaining sensor data generated by a built-in sensor; writing the sensor data into a target sub-buffer of a preset buffer, the preset buffer comprising at least one sub-buffer; and when extraction requirements are met, extracting the sensor data from the target sub-buffer and sending the sensor data to a target device. Embodiments of the present invention also disclose an apparatus and a system for transmitting sensor data. By using the present invention, network congestion can be avoided, the sequence of the sensor data obtained by a driver of a sensor is stable, and the reliability of the sensor data is ensured.
