categorizing lubricant parameters into a plurality of priority groups, wherein the priority groups are determined in response to a criticality of the lubricant parameters on at least one of a lubricant performance and a component life; analyzing a sample of lubricant; assigning an indicator value to each of the lubricant parameters in response to the analyzing; comparing the indicator values to predetermined threshold values; and determining a health status in response to the comparing and the priority groups corresponding to the lubricant parameters. |
