The invention relates to a sensor array for a motor vehicle having a light source and an optical detection device, wherein the detection device is formed having an array of optical pixels. The light source can be controlled for delivering light pulses, and the detection device can be controlled for detecting the light reflected by the environment. A control and evaluation device, the detection device, and the light source together are configured as Time-of-Flight structure (ToF structure) for detection in a first spatial direction such that spatially assignable distance data are detected. The light source and the detection device are arranged in a receptacle formed on a vehicle for mounting the sensor device, wherein the receptacle is to be arranged along a contact surface of the vehicle. The light source is arranged in a tilted manner inside the receptacle such that between a normal to the contact surface and the optical axis of the light source, an angle of at least 5° is formed. |
