<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of securing long term reliability, even when a force caused by earthquake, uneven settlement, and the like, and a vibrational load, are applied thereto.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 for inserting an insert port 10 of a fluid pipe P2 to a socket 2 of a fluid pipe P1 including a flange 3 formed on the socket 2, a tapered face 4 formed on an inner periphery of an opening portion of the flange 3, a seal member 12 disposed between an outer peripheral face 11 of a spigot 10 and the tapered face 4, a projecting portion 13 formed on an outer peripheral face 11 of the spigot 10, a push ring 16, and a fastening member 17 for fastening the flange 3 and the push ring 16, to seal and connect them, has a locking member 14 engaged with the projecting portion 13 in a state that its outer diameter dimension in the engagement is larger than an inner diameter dimension of the push ring 16, the push ring 16 is integrally formed into the annular shape, and its inner diameter dimension is larger than an outer diameter dimension of the projecting portion 13.</p> |
