PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit and a medical lighting device, capable of correctly lighting an irradiation object, and capable of irradiating a human body with moderate light.SOLUTION: A medical lighting device 1 includes a lighting unit 10. The lighting unit 10 includes: an excitation light source 16a; a red phosphor, a green phosphor and a blue phosphor excited by excitation light of the excitation light source 16a; a white light source 16 constituted to be able to radiate white light; and a reflection mirror 20 reflecting light emitted by the white light source 16 toward an object. The lighting unit 10 has an average color rendering index Ra of 85 or more, and special color rendering indices R9, R15 of 90 or more. |
