PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output and transfer, to a portable communication device, information having been printed on the basis of the instruction or input from a user to reduce the amount of resources to be used, and improve the cooperation of an image forming apparatus and the portable communication device compared to before to promote the use of the portable communication device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a printing unit that performs printing on a sheet, a storage unit that stores information and data, and a communication unit that communicates with a portable communication device by radio and automatically detects the portable communication device to which information can be transferred in a communication area. When the communication unit detects the portable communication device, transmits specific information, of information stored in the storage unit, which is predefined and printed on the basis of the instruction from a user to the portable communication device being detected. |
