<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in conventional detection of a toner image for the detection by an optical sensor, and to bring usability to an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes process means closely arranged around each photoreceptor and acting on the photoreceptor. An electrostatic latent image for detection is formed on the photoreceptor by light-irradiating means; passing of the electrostatic latent image at a position opposing to the process means is detected; and correction of color shift is controlled on the basis of the detection result.</p> |
