<p>The present invention is provided with: a processing unit (2) which performs, by way of execution of firmware (41), setting processing of an information processing device (1) and startup processing of a basic system (5C); a storage unit (5) which retains the basic system (5C) and first area information (5A) relating to an area storing the basic system (5C); and a retaining unit (4) for retaining second area information (4A) corresponding to the first area information (5A). The processing unit (2) is provided with: an assessment unit (21) for assessing, in the setting processing, on the basis of whether or not the second area information (4A) corresponding to the first area information (5A) has been retained in the retaining unit (4), whether or not to perform the startup processing of the basic system (5C); and a registration unit (22) for registering the first area information (5A) as the second area information (4A) in the retaining unit (4) if a determination is made that the second area information (4A) has not been retained. The processing unit (2), in accordance with the assessment result by the assessment unit (21), performs startup processing of the basic system (5C).</p> |
