A receiving container (44) is arranged above the cutting device, and threaded base material with a flushing liquid is conveyed into the receiving container. A stirring element is provided in the receiving container for mixing the threaded base material with the flushing liquid. Discharging equipment removes the threaded base material with flushing liquid in upward direction from the receiving container.
