<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only make a user previously sense the arrival of a specific date but also enable the user to look forward to the arrival of the specific date. <P>SOLUTION: A current date is taken in (step SG4) and is stored in a register B (step SG5). Next, the numbers of days and hours remaining before the specific date are calculated from a difference (A-B) between an input date (specific date) stored in a register A in a step SD3 and the current date stored in the register B in the step SG5 and are stored in a register C (step SG6). A function f(C) which has the number of remaining days or the numbers of remaining days and remaining hours stored in the register C, as a variable C and reduces a value of a period P in accordance with the reduction of the number of remaining days or the number of remaining days and hours is used to obtain an interruption period P (step SG7).
