<p>The paste contain (a) 10 to 50 wt.% polyglycol ether derivatives of alcohols, alkyl phenols, fatty acids or fatty acid amides with 10-18C atoms, in which the total of ethylene glycol ether groups is 0.3 to 0.9 (pref. 0.4 to 0.8) times the number of C atoms in the hydrophobic part of the molecule, (b) 30 to 80% of water soluble crystalline or calcined sals selected from sodium or potassium phosphate, polyphosphate, silicate, borate, sulphate, sesquicarbonate or aluminium alum, with particle size of 0.5 to 2 mm. and pH in aqueous solution below 10, and (c) less than 10% water. They are suitable for cleaning the skin, articles of metal, glass ceramics or plastics, and lacquered surfaces. Persistent oily and tarry deposits are removed without harmful effect on the skin.</p> |
