Liquefied natural gas power plant and operation method thereof

A liquefied natural gas (LNG) power plant (40,41) has a heating/cooling device (7). The heating/cooling device (7) is controlled by a command generated by a temperature control device (14). The temperature control device (14) receives a heating value and a temperature of the fuel gas. The heating value of the fuel gas introduced to a gas turbine power generation unit (11) from an LNG vaporization facility (41) is detected by a heating value detector (5). The temperature of the fuel gas is detected by a temperature detector (8). A target temperature calculator (151) installed in the temperature control device (14) calculates a target temperature based on the heating value. A command generator (16) installed in the temperature control device (14) generates the command by comparing the target temperature and the fuel temperature.
