<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength high-processable can steel sheet and to provide a method for production thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The can steel sheet comprises 0.001-0.040% C, 0.003-0.100% Si, 0.10-0.80% Mn, 0.001-0.100% P, 0.001-0.020% S, 0.005-0.100% Al, over 0.015% to 0.020% N, 0.0002-0.0050% B, and the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the content of N present in the form of AlN is 0.0060% or less. In a cross section in the direction of rolling, the average crystal grain diameter is 5.00μm or more, and the elongation rate of crystal grains is 2.50 or less. Such can steel sheet can be obtained by hot-rolling a slab at a reheating temperature of 1,200°C or higher, winding the hot-rolled steel sheet at a temperature of less than 700°C, subjecting the sheet to primary cold rolling at a rolling reduction rate of over 85%, subsequently annealing it, and subjecting it to secondary cold rolling at a rolling reduction rate of 20% or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
