<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door-closing device for a sliding door, easy to mount. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic door-closing device has a door-closing driving cord (18) made flexible to be windable and mounted to a door frame to extend in the opening/closing direction of the sliding door (20); a rotating member (32) mounted to be rotatable around an axis in a predetermined position relative to the sliding door; an engaging holding member (36) engaging the door-closing driving cord to the peripheral surface of the rotating member; and a spring device for accumulating spring energizing force for rolling the rotating member in an opposite direction to its rolling as the rotating member rolls on the door-closing driving cord when the sliding door is moved from its closed position toward its open position. The rotating member and the spring device are set into a casing, and the casing is set fittingly fixed to a recess in the upper edge surface of the sliding door. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
