<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an LED light, which uses alternating current (AC) power and may alleviate a flickering effect. An AC direct connection type of light emitting diode (LED) lighting apparatus is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an AC direct connection type of LED lighting apparatus includes: a power supply unit directly connected to an AC power source to supply power to the LED lighting apparatus; a first light emitting unit connected to an output terminal of the power supply unit; a second light emitting unit connected to the output terminal of the power supply unit; and a control unit configured to sense a voltage of the output terminal of the power supply unit, and to determine a connection between the first and second light emitting units as a serial or parallel connection according to the magnitude of the sensed voltage.</p> |
