<p>The present invention relates to an automatic transmission for a vehicle which comprises: an input shaft receiving power of an engine; an output shaft outputting shifted power; a pair of stacked-type planetary gear sets shifting the power inputted from the input shaft to advance 9-speed and back 1-speed, and transmitting the shifted power to the output shaft; eight rotating members configured as connected to at least one rotating element among rotating elements of each stacked-type planetary gear set; and six friction members composed of a clutch regulating the power as connected to a selected rotating member or to the input shaft, and a brake interposed between the selected rotating member and a transmission housing. Accordingly, the number of electrical devices can be reduced and mountability can be improved while a gear stage of the advance 9-speed and back 1-speed is realized.</p> |
