PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery driven system of an automobile mounted with a redox flow type battery having an usable battery capacity area enlarged as much as possible.SOLUTION: The battery driven system of an automobile, which is mounted with a battery in which an active material stored in a main active material storage portion is supplied to an electrode and travels using driving power obtained from the battery, comprises, in addition to the main active material storage portion, a sub active material storage portion storing the active material; and a control mechanism that, when charged amounts of the active material in the main active material storage portion and/or the electrode are equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value and the mode of the automobile is shifted from a normal operation mode to a high load operation mode, supplies the active material being charged from the sub active material storage portion to the electrode and/or the main active material storage portion. |
