PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately mold the foamed molding members on both surfaces of a rigid plate while inhibiting displacement of the rigid plate due to foaming pressure.SOLUTION: A method for production of a foamed molding member includes a first process of arranging a first foamed and molded portion 11 and a rigid member 3 in a mold 20 for molding a second portion, and pressing and fixing the rigid member 3 to the mold 20, and a second process of pouring a synthetic resin material U for a second portion into the mold 20, and then foaming and molding the second portion 12 tucking at least a part of the rigid member 3 to unite with the first portion 11.
